Yes, for those who didn't read it at ticklingforum.com, I managed to make a small, portable, effective tickling machine from the Lego Mindstorms "Robotic Invention Systems Kit " set.

Best part? It really needs only about 6 parts (although I have seven because of an extra gear on it's axel, I think six will work just fine...)

Since there's no tickling in these pics, I guess this is the best place to post pics of the machine. Here's what some of it looks like--if I attached it right...

...............alright, since that worked, now onto the parts needed from the kit, starting with the second photo, which is the Brick, as Lego calls it...the yellow , small computer that is the "brains" of the bot and its power source.

Then, the motor. pretty small, eh?

Next, can't forget axel....it's needed to attach two of the gears...which is the next pic

Annnnd, of course, the cord...can't transfer power/data from to the motor without the cord....but since I can't upload it in this post(reached the max limit for pics in the post), I'll have to try it in another one

Okay, like I said, ya need the cord--in the first pic of this post-- to transfer data/power to the motor. The kit has shorter ones, you can use them..or even attach all the kit's cords to each other to make one lonnng cord (might be useful if the regular long one isn't enough)

Now, here's how ya make it (with pics included, so don't worry, it shouldn't be too confusing, even when told by me. lol)

1. Attach one of the gears to the spinnin part of the motor...some of the holes in the gear look like crosses..use one of those holes (I chose the middle one, myself)
2. Take the axel and put it in one of the other cross-shaped holes..(that's where it is in the second pic

3....slide a gear or two onto the axel the way I did mine is in pic 3

4. hook the motor up to the Brick using the cord (4th pic). The cord must be facing either left or right...if you face it left, the motor will spin one way..face it right, the motor will spin the other way. I dunno why , it's just the way the stuff is programmed. lol

5. Hang the motor part above your victim at the desired angle and height, turn on the power, push "run" after selecting your desired program, and watch your bot mercilessly tickle-torture! (mine was shown in that first pic of the post, I believe)
